DR. ALEXANDER EGOTE, CONSULTANT UROLOGIST & CLINICAL COORDINATOR OF BONO REGIONAL HOSPITAL ADVOCATES FOR NATIONAL POLICY FOR THE AGED IN GHANA

   DR. Alexander EGOTE, a consultant Urologist and clinical coordinator of the BONO regional hospital, Sunyani is advocating for policy inclusion for the aged with stroke in Ghana. According to the experienced clinician, there should be a national policy to take care of the aged in Ghana, which according to him is so crucial for us to have a sustainable development, since it will take a strong workforce to build a nation. According to Dr. Egote, in order to achieve the sustainable goal 3: Health and wellness among all ages, we can not just achieve this agenda in 2030 if we do not have practical policies in place. DR. Egote is calling on governments, political leaders to include that in their respective manifestos, we need to plan for the aged in our plan as a nation. He said this during the clinical meeting on this Wednesday 15th January, 2020.
