MADAM VERONICA APRAKU MENSAH BOWS OUT OF ACTIVE NURSING SERVICE

     Madam Veronica APRAKU Mensah bows out of active Nursing service after over 3 decades of serving the Ghanaian community in the area of Nursing. She entered Sunyani Nursing School as an Enroll Nurse on the 12th May 1978 and graduated in 1980. She worked at the Sunyani hospital ( now municipal) hospital till the year 2000. Her quest for knowledge and personal development made her to continue her education at the Kumasi Nursing Training College from 2000 to 2003, Registered General Nurse. She has being working at the Bono Regional Hospital, Sunyani from 2004 till March 2020 when she bowed out of active Nursing service.She was at the rank of Senior Nursing Officer ( SNO).  She has being rotating between Accident & Emergency theatre to the CJ Oppong Theatre( Main theatre) throughout her period at the Bono Regional hospital. She carries wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to theatre work. Maa Vero as she is affectionately called by all, she is very relational, dutiful, professional and before her retirement she was the Nurse Manager of the Accident and emergency theatre. You have paid your due to your God and humanity and have played your role in shaping the Nursing Profession, your have left indellible marks at the theatres and you shall forever be in the memory of all. We celebrate you for the distinquished services rendered to the Ghanaian community and for the boundless love you showed to your clients through the course of your duty. Your infectious smiles serves as a magnetic force that drew  all cadre of health professional towards you. Nurses like your type and kind are few, we thank God for your life and for allowing yourself to be used as an instrument of healing to your generation. On behalf of the millions of clients you served , on behalf of all the health staff at the Bono Regional hospital especially those at the Emergency Theatre, we say Bravo and kudos to your elbows for the meritorious services rendered to all who came your way. Maa Vero is a good example to emulate by the young and upcoming health professional and all who want to leave a lasting legacy in the area of tbeir work.
