Anyone who have not heard the name of Dr.J. B Fordjour in Ghana and Brong Ahafo in particular, may be a stranger by 99.9% probability. He is a Gynaecologist who has served mother Ghana for so many years and still serving at the regional hospital, Sunyani and other health facilities within the country. One word I can use to describe Doctor FORDJOUR is his ' humility' and 'simplicity' despite his academic heights and achievements in life. Many mothers have named their babies after him. One thing that I continue to learn from Dr. Fordjour and no one who knows him can deny his rich human relations with his clients and everyone within the health fraternity and outside. We must start honouring our heroes. Am tired of the numerous funeral praise, and celebrations after death, whiles we do not even tell them how important and useful they have been to us and humanity at large. He is a great role model to the medical fraternity and a great asset to the people of Brong ahafo in particular. We always talk about the wrongs, but I stand for those who have strived for mastery lawfully, and to give them the opportunity to share their success story and life with us, as an inspiration to the next generation. Men like Dr. Fordjour did not join the medical profession for the sake of money, but the passion and the drive to serve humanity.
Stay tune as I bring to your fore the untold stories in our communities.
