Mr. George Yaw  Ankamah, the Director of the Department of Children Affairs for the Bono Region of Ghana  is calling for orientation to national leadership in Ghana in order to have a sustainable development . He added that christians need to take on the challenge of ethical and principle centred leadership. We need to consciously imbibe the philosophy of leadership in the younger generation and help them to appreciate the Dynamics of the 21st century leadership. Mr. Ankamah who is part of the pastorate team of the Winners Chapel International ( Sunyani)  bemoaned the high level of corruption in Ghana among even supposed christians, he is calling on the clergy, christians and all Ghanaians to remember the value of integrity, hardwork, patience in our persuit of success in life.  Mr. George is advocating for leadership capacity building programmes for this generation. According to Mr. Ankamah, many are craving for leadership position in the political space  and the corporate world  without the requisite knowledge, skills and competence, hence the backwardness in the developmental agenda of Ghana. Mr. Ankamah made the above remarks during the Leadership Hour on Greena 95.9 fm with Rev.JAK on the 12th September, 2020. Mr. Ankamah is of the view that christians who have the requisite knowledge and leadership skills should also vie for leadership position(s) in the political space  in order to make their voices heard and represent the interest of the weak and the vulnerable in society, good policies and legislation is key to development . He is calling on the Youth to start reading, building themselves up with ethical leadership principles, be honest in their dealings from their homes, offices, and to be good stewards of the resources entrusted into their hands.
